The concern for the environment has led to significant changes in our surroundings. One of them has been, for example, the introduction and development of the concept of environmental responsibility, which serves to assess the extent to which our practices contribute to the balance of the planet.
This term speaks about the degree of commitment that we, as individuals and as a company, have towards the environment that surrounds us, and the need to carry out sustainable practices that guarantee the balance of the environment.

• Installation of solar panels at Cala Azul and Esmeralda Park
As a commitment to improve sustainability and reduce the carbon footprint associated with electricity production, a self-consumption installation using photovoltaic panels has been implemented to enhance the competitiveness and energy efficiency of the establishment.

• Production of solar energy for domestic hot water at Cala Esmeralda.
• Electric vehicle charging point.
• Environmental and CSR training for different hotel departments.
• Renewal of quality seals from SICTED and Travelife.
• Remotely controlled air conditioning and heating.
• Electric scooter for staff.
• Purchase of local and proximity products to reduce emissions.
• Outdoor lights with scheduled on and off times and twilight switches.
• Rooftop swimming pool with heated water using solar panels. Additionally, it is covered at night to maintain the temperature.
• Double glazing in all rooms to maintain temperature and isolate from exterior noise.
• Dual-flush partial discharge cistern.
• Celebration of Environment Day.
• Beach cleaning once a week as an activity by our animation team.
• Towel and linen changing policy to reduce water consumption.
• Daily monitoring of energy consumption, electricity, diesel, propane gas, and water consumption to prevent possible leaks.
WASTE REDUCTION
• Placement of container batteries in different areas of the hotel.
• Biodegradable straws and recyclable ice cream cups.
• Thorough control of the organic fraction with weighing and bonuses from the municipality based on recycled kilos.
• Introduction of bags of different colors for different fractions: Yellow (packaging), white (organic), black (waste), etc., to improve waste management.
• Environmental and corporate social responsibility training.
