We are delighted to inform you that Inturotel will be opening its doors again on 3rd July with the reopening of the following hotels:

Inturotel Esmeralda Park
Inturotel Esmeralda Villas
Inturotel Cala Azul
Inturotel Azul Garden
Inturotel Esmeralda Garden


If you have a booking at any of these five hotels, please go to the Inturotel Cala Azul reception, where we have centralised our customer service point for these hotels.

Inturotel Cala Esmeralda is postponing its reopening until the 24th July and is closely following the developments in some source markets that are at a later phase in the process of exiting lockdown than Mallorca. All clients with a booking up until 23 July have been sent a personal email explaining the options available to them.

Inturotel Sa Marina sadly will not be able to open its doors during the 2020 season as a result of the large volume of cancellations it has had. All clients with a booking at this hotel have been sent a personal email explaining the options available to them.

We had to close Inturotel Cala Esmeralda three months ago and postpone opening the rest of our hotels because of the STATE of EMERGENCY that was declared in Spain as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then we have been getting ready to welcome you back with our usual friendly first-class service and the added hygiene and health guarantees that are required by the current situation. Because you and your loved ones are the most important thing to us, we want to offer you an unforgettable experience on the beach of your dreams under the radiant Mallorcan sun.

We have been working hard to open some of our hotels for the 2020 season. Unfortunately, the circumstances of the pandemic mean that some of our establishments in Cala d’Or will have to remain closed. Those hotels that can open will do so with changes to the service in order to adapt them to the new health and hygiene measures.

We will welcome you with new approved and certified hygiene and health protocols against COVID-19 in place. Our personnel will receive specific training to enable them to face this challenge confidently and effectively.

Inturotel recipes: coca de trampó
Mallorca is an island full of flavor and delicious recipes with the Mediterranean diet in their DNA. We want to share with you one of our favorite recipes for the summer months: "coca de trampó". "Coca" we could translate it as tart (in this case salty) and the "trampó" is a salad from the garden that has ripe tomatoes, green pepper and white onion (from the sweet, which does not itch). Many Majorcans have their own garden and turn to it for the preparation of their favorite dishes, a genuinely local cuisine and Km 0.   The result may remind you of pizza, but without mozzarella. Surely the origins of Italian pizza and Mallorcan cocas are common. Centuries of cultural-gastronomic exchange in the Mediterranean have led to the creation of recipes of incalculable value. We invite you to discover our rich gastronomy by staying at one of our hotels. At Inturotel we will recommend the best markets, bakeries, patisseries ... on the island and in our buffets and restaurants you will be able to taste local product and typical recipes from Mallorca.   Here we show you how to make your own "coca de trampó" so that you can enjoy it in good company and accompanied by a good Mallorcan red wine.   “Bon profit !! I bon estiu ”Bon appetit !! I happy summer   Coca de trampó for 4 people INGREDIENTS 3 or 4 ripe tomatoes2 green peppers1 white onionSalt, pepper, sweet paprika and olive oil For the mass:1/4 glass olive oil1/2 glass warm water1 piece of baker's yeast1 tablespoon of butterFlour that you need CAUGHT RED HANDED: Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.Prepare the "trampó", cutting the tomato and the green pepper into squares and the chopped onion, mix everything in a salt and pepper bowl, add sweet paprika and oil. Leave a little time to rest for marinade.Meanwhile we mix the oil, water, butter, yeast and flour and knead well.Add flour until it begins to peel off the edges. The dough should be soft and slightly sticky, not too hard.Spread the dough with your fingers on a baking tray, previously moistened with oil. And to taste a traditional Mallorcan dish!
