Inturotel Hotels in Cala d’Or Mallorca History

1987-1994

Inturotel is a business which has defined itself, since its inception, by its connection with the area of Cala d’Or, and its development. The company’s first activity was the promotion, construction and marketing of residential properties in Cala d’Or. It was in 1987 that it entered the hotel sector with the construction and opening of the Cala Azul Park and Esmeralda Park complexes.

1995-2000

During this period Inturotel consolidated its position as a hotel business with the opening of Cala Azul Garden (1995) and Esmeralda Garden (1999). The model was based on the aparthotel sector.

2001-2004

In this phase, thanks to the experience and knowhow in the hotel business developed in the management of aparthotels, the company diversified its range of products, moving into the medium to high-end hotel sector with the opening of Sa Marina and Es Sivinar (2001). This diversification of the business portfolio was completed with the incorporation of the first hotel in the chain, hotel Cala Esmeralda (November 2003).

2005-Present

In this latest stage Inturotel set out its position strongly in favour of modernisation and customer focus, by introducing new marketing and customer service channels, and fully integrating plans for continual improvement and excellent service. Our principal objective being to fully satisfy our clients’ needs and desires, and try to give them unique experiences during their holiday.
